Multiple dermatofibromas are also more common in people with underlying conditions, especially in those with systemic lupus erythematosus. I also no longer have any itching or pain from the dermatofirboma. I would say it took about 9 months to a year for the dermatofibromas to completely disappear. After about 5 or 6 months, the dermatofibromas were noticeably smaller and less red. I am happy that I kept up with it and didn’t give up. The main reason I kept using these methods for so long was because it helped relieve the pain and itching from the dermatofibromas.
